Loved this post. And, especially the photo of your lab as a puppy. We have been seriously considering getting our Germane Shepherd / Norwegian Elk-hound mix another dog to pall around with, although I personally don't feel comfortable with it until I am at home at least part-time. Also, I'm sorry to hear about your rough week - I would have burst into tears in that situation as well, and I'm not even pregnant.
It's funny... I have had a great pregnancy but I guess no matter what, it just gets hard at the end. Anxiety, emotions, and the physical toll - it's just too much some days. I've been an emotional wreck for the past two weeks anyway, so this was really the icing on the cake!I totally understand wanting to be home more before adding another job. I'm not sure I could have done had I not worked at a company that was very dog friendly. I was able to bring Czara in with my several days a week, and the other days my brother puppy sat, since he was on summer break. Now that they are older, while I still hate being out of the house for long hours, I feel better that at least they have each other!
i thought your post was really well written. i love the honest way you wrote about being a mama to a bully - the socialization issues, the misinformation and the general ignorance about the breed. my family has long been lovers of the breed and firmly believe they are wonderful members of any family. plus, both your babies are super adorable.xoxohttp://tinylittlehappies.blogspot.com/
